Having graduated with a masters degree from the University of Arts London Jane was looking for a career that combined her interest in the visual arts with her lifelong passion for 'making'.
She spent a year learning traditional millinery skills with fashion milliner Noel Stewart before enrolling on the full time Higher National Certificate course at Kensington and Chelsea College achieving a Distinction under the guidance of Kirsten Scott former milliner to Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel and society milliner Sarah Cant.
Jane was put forward for The Worshipful Company of Feltmakers Design Award, reached the semi finals of the international Hat Designer of the Year competition and was selected to take part in the Making Headway Project at the prestigious Hat Works Museum.
Her hats have also been regularly selected by the Fenwick buyer for sale in their Bond Street store.
Jane undertakes exclusive commissions in which her designs can be adapted to suit a clients specific requirements, she is always happy to discuss and advise.
